Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr.) Tan’s entrepreneurial journey in the healthcare sector commenced in 1995 with the establishment of Optimax Eye Specialist Centre Sdn Bhd, specializing in refractive surgery services. Currently, Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr.) Tan assumes the role of Deputy Executive Chairman at Optimax Holdings Berhad, a publicly traded entity listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities. Expanding the scope of Sena Holdings’ business portfolio, Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr.) Tan initiated several other ventures, including Sena Die- Casting Industry Sdn Bhd in 1995, ITMAX System Berhad in 2001, Sena Traffic Systems (STS) in 2007, and Sena Healthcare Services in 2011.
